A BOER WAR LETTER

Ladysmith

3 March 1900

Dear Mr Sidfrids

Our four month imprisonment with hard labour is now ending & I can again communicate with the outside world.

I had a letter from Mrs Murray to say you had renewed the Selhurst lease for one year for which I thank you & also for the help you gave her.

I probably have many more months of hard work before me, may I ask you to communicate with Mrs Murray on any little matter her address will be either
