An Alfred Smith privately produced, Registered Postal Stationery envelope embossed with a One Penny pink envelope stamp and up-rated with an embossed Six Pence envelope stamp in lilac, both cancelled with a single ring BATH date stamp on 9 May 1894. The Item was sent to Belgium a red Belgian Registration label No. 657 was added over the pre-printed word “REGISTERED”. Circular BATH registration mark showing 2D paid (two pence), blue crayon registration marks, and large R in circle applied. In London the following day, an oval Registration mark was applied in red.
